Our 4 children (preschool - middle school) have been using these daily for school lunches for 2 years now. We haven't had any problems with breakage and even the younger kidss can open and close them, they go in the microwave and dishwasher with every use.

Work so well that we bought a 2nd set to have enough of the same shapes for all 4 kids.

Bought these containers because they are BPA free. Very disappointing that one of the lids broke on first use. You also have to remove the rubberband seal and clean them throuroughly before use. Its sort of a gimmiky disign. Some of the rectangular containers are handy for lunch, but the rounds are way too small for any practical use. Also just found out the Rubbermaid is also BPA free. Shoulda bought them instead.
